A.T.I College Leadership Campaign

Once again the PRS club invited the Prefects Board to attend a leadership campaign in A.T.I College. 25.07.2009 morning all of us met at school to take attendance. It's a college for Traveling & Hotel Management core.
After taking attendance and while waiting for the big school bus.

Well, the bus arrived on time. After that we went off to the college.
Some people would say couple, but i wouldn't deny that saying. Soon Li > Ling Zhen.

The 1st event was to watch the Titanic movie - the part where the cruise got crushed the ice berg. How the captain on that Cruise took control of the situation and the effects. It was to show what a leader needs to lead his man. He introduced us to the college and other branches.
After that we were divided into teams by quoting numbers 1 to 4. So that made 4 teams - Purple, Blue, Green & Yellow. I were in the purple team.
We were given colored ribbons to tie on parts of body and off to the top of the building to play leadership and team work games.
Dickson took this photo with my camera. In fact he wanted to take Chun Xian (banana) and Ling Zhen. But, you see part of my face?

After the tiring morning playing games, we went down to the ground floor cafeteria to fill our stomach. The foods were prepared by the Hotel Management Core in-charger. Not bad food!
Yea! Finally could eat! Lolxx...

By the way, it seemed Seng Kheong was trying to eat the sandwich.
We were looking at Dickson as he was trying to do something funny i seemed.

While we were having food, the campaign chairman gave a talk about the purpose hosting the event. He also praised us for our well behaved act. He announced the best leader and team work of the day. That was i think the yellow team.

After group photo taking, i asked 1 man - the student of the college to help me and Zhen take photo. That man interrupted me when i was playing my game, he keep saying i will loose. In the end, ya i lost! Anywhere i saw him, he and I will start to '唱反调'.

Ling Zhen and I went back home by Chun Xian driving. Dickson lead the way by his motor as Chun Xian did not know the roads well.
I, I mean everyone more or less gained some leadership knowledge and team work experience by the campaign.

A good leader must fulfill good values in life. Not neglecting others' importance.

Happy Birthday to Myself & Ar Di

Xiang Wei and other friends made a birthday party for Soon Li and me.
Today 20.07.2009 is my birthday and tomorrow will be Soon Li's birthday. To save time and expenses, we combined our birthdays.
The party was held in Xiang Wei's house.
After school, Soon Li and I went home to clean ourselves to prepare for party.
Chun Xian picked Ling Zhen and me from our house.
Some chit-chat-ed and played, while some got the cake and food ready.
For me, i had a short nap while waiting for other friends to arrive.
Fruit cake bought by them. It was written Happy without the 'y'.

When Soon Li arrived, i was surprised to see him wear shirt in red, it was the color that i was wearing too. Anyway, this might be a coincidence or that was what we called, connection between bro & sis.

When everyone arrived and the preparations were ready, it went on with the cake event.
Everyone stopped their act and come around the table. Birthday song was sang aloud.
20th July my birth date. 21st July Soon Li's birth date. This was what made Soon Li my 'ar di'.

It's time for receiving presents! Zhen and Soon Li combined to buy 2 piggies. Xiang Wei, Chin Eng (k-son) and Kok Siang bought a dog, of course toy dog la. Choon Yin and Cheng Wern gave me a decorative gift. Others summed up to hold the expenses of the party.
Soon Li got a gold medal from Choon Yin, Xiang Wei, Kok Siang and Cheng Wern.
And from me, haha.. secret.

We then played games such as the "truth of heart" and card games.
On the day, Wei Nan did not attend school, the boy in school uniform. He played truant and came for the party. Very brave + cool. Before Chun Xian took me and Zhen home, we had a group photo. Chin Chan & Kooi Huat took turns to be the cameraman.

Bon Odori June 2009

My dad sent me, Zhen and Sheng Hann to Esplanade where the Bon Odori festival was held ever year. This time it's 18 July 2009.
Bon Odori is said to be a japanese ghost festival.They came to Malaysia to promote their culture.
On that night, the crowd was a mess, cars, motors were being blocked from entering the scene. Many polices and RELA appeared to take control of the traffic. Fireworks were played, very nice!
I don't think she's real japanese.

We all went home late at night.
It was passed midnight.
As we were playing lifting and swinging, Cheng En lost his handphone and motor key.
What a pitty. Xiang Wei rush to Cheng En's house and took the spare motor key from his mother.
